Preliminary Study Of 60 Cases Of Patients Suffered From Infertility Of Anxiety/depression And Distribution Of Habitus Of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Objective:To probe into the characteristics of anxiety/depression and habitus of TCM in patients suffered from infertility.Methods:According to Zung's self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and Zung's self-rating depression scale (SDS), Professor Wang Qi's nine types of constitutions of TCM, On October 2009～March 2010 in Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Second Affiliated Hospital, Gynecology and Infertility Clinic of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu over the same period in the health of women conducted a questionnaire survey. we collect the general demology information, habitus survey of TCM, self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) and self-rating depression scale (SDS).Analysis of the patients suffered from infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi, the patients suffered from infertility of no syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi, the normal contrasted group disparity between the three group of the characteristics of anxiety/ depression and constitutions of TCM. Then did the data processed by applying medical statistics software SPSS15.0.Results:1 The survey received 100 valid questionnaires, of which 60 patients with infertility,35 cases of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (58.33%),25 cases of no syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (41.67%),40 cases of healthy women which the average age of selected 31.78±3.80 years. The habitus of TCM of the patients suffered from infertility was Biased nature. The habitus of TCM of the patients suffered from infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi, simply biased constitution for the 13 cases(37.14%),compound biased constitution for the 22 cases(62.86%). The habitus of TCM of the patients suffered from infertility of no syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi, simply biased constitution for the 11 cases(44%),compound biased constitution for the 14 cases(56%). Health survey of women's physical nature mostly moderate(62.5%),simply biased constitution for the 6 cases(15%),compound biased constitution for the 9 cases(22.5%). 2 The compare of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) indicated that patients with infertility(49.83±7.28) got higher scores than healthy women.(42.75±7.30), statistically significant (P<0.05).And it had no significant differerce between the patients with infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (51.11±7.29)and the patients with infertility of no syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (48.04±7.02) (P> 0.05).3 The compare of self-rating depression scale (SDS) indicated that patients with infertility(50.27±6.47) got higher scores than healthy women.(44.65±9.52), statistically significant (P< 0.05).And it had no significant differerce between the patients with infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (51.69±5.52)and the patients with infertility of no syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi (48.28±7.27) (P> 0.05).4 The habitus of TCM of the patients suffered from infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi was qi stagnation type for the 6 cases (46.15%), combined qi stagnation type for the 14 cases (63.64%)Conclusion:1 Anxiety/depression and infertility related, ane no significant correlation with syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi.2The TCM's habitus type of the patients suffered from infertility of syndrome of stagnation of liver-qi was mostly qi stagnation type or combined qi stagnation type.
