Objective:By analyzing the association between ankle-brachial index and various risk factors in hospitalized patients with diabetic lower extremity arterial disease (LEAD), to find out the risk factors those have prominent roles in promoting ankle-brachial index reduced.To provide a certain basis for the research of the cause of diabetic lower extremity arterial disease,and its primary,secondary prevention ,as well as the clinically target–oriented treatment.Methods:The objects of study were selected from patients with diabetic lower extremity arterial disease (ABI≤0.9) ,who were Admitted to Endocrinology in the First Clinical Hospital of Jilin University from April 2008 to May 2010.After collecting their clinical information such as gender,age,length of hospital stay, duration of hypertension and diabetes, smoking history, stroke, coronary heart disease, height, weight, body mass index,blood pressure, blood glucose, lipids, platelets, creatinine, uric acid and so on,we chose 94 patients whose data were completed。All subjects were divided into three groups based on ABI values, 0.7
