Objective To explore the effect of coagulation function and platelet count changes with the addition of APACHEⅡon prognostic of cardiopulmonary resuscitationMethods Fifty-three patients admitted to department of Intersive Care Unit were selected. Blood samples were drawn within the first 24 hours and the third 24 hours after CPR. Blood samples consist of potential of hydrogen, serum sodium ions, serum potassium ion, creatinine concentration, hematocrit value, leukocyte, coagulation and platelet count. According to APACHEⅡscore of the first 24 hours and the third 24 hours after CPR, all of the patients were divided into four groups: A1(APACHEⅡscore(?)25),A2(APACHEⅡscore(?)25),B1(APACHEⅡscore>25),B2(APACHEⅡscore>25)。all of the patients were divided into two groups according to the patients'prognosis in the following two weeks:the death group and the survival group. These data were analyzed with SPSS13.0.Results (1)The patients in group A1 had significantly lower APACHEⅡscore,APTT,PT,TT than those in group B1(P<0.05). had significantly higher FBI,PC than those in group B1(P<0.05).(2) The patients in group A2had significantly lower APACHEⅡscore,APTT,PT,TT than those in group B2(P<0.05). had significantly higher FBI,PC than those in group B2(P<0.05).(3)The patients in death group were higher APACHEⅡscore,PT,TT than those in survival group(P<0.05). lower APTT,PC than those in group B2(P<0.05).(4) A negative correlation was found between APACHEⅡscore and APTT and PC.A positive correlation was found between APACHEⅡscore and PT.Conclusion The cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) patients were prone to develop coagulant function abnormality. There is a negative correlation between APACHEⅡscore and APTT and PC.It could be conducive to predict the prognosis and to judge the cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) after return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC) patients to combine the changes of coagulation and platelet count with APACHEⅡscore than to use APACHEⅡscore only.
