Clinical Research Of Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder Modified Thiamazole On Hyperthyroidism

Objective:1.To judge which is better for the Graves of the heart and liver Huo type in Traditional Medicine,through observe the curative effects of the combination of Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and Thiamazole(MMI).2.To explore the safety of the combination Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and Thiamazole used for the patients catching the Graves disease.Measures:To select 60 patients catching the disease, which are then randomly fallen into two groups curing group with Thiamazole has 30 while the comparing group of Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder has 30. After a course of treatment, observe the clinical effects of the two groups and the safety of the combination Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and Thiamazole used for the patients catching the Graves disease. Analyze the count data with chi-square test, the measurement data of a group with single used factor analysis of variance and the measurement data between groups with T test.Results:1.The curing group have better effect than the comparing group (P<0.05), and have much advantages in improving clinical symptoms (P<0.05)2.The remarkable discrepancy (P<.005) in improving the fhyroid function before and after carrying out curing shows that both of two groups can reduce hormone FT3,FT4 and rise TSH. After curing, there doesn't exist significant difference between the two groups, which indicates that the curative effects for two group are similar.3.There is a case of medicine rash and no the adverse reactions of leukopenia, liver function injury and so on in the curing group, While 5 cases of medicine rash and 2 cases of leucopenia and no liver function injury. So the curing group have the higher safty.Conclusion:1.The combination of Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and MMI have good effect on improving clinical symptoms and signs of Graves disease.2.The combination of Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and MMI have better effect on improving the indexes of thyroid function than MMI only, but the curing group have reduced the dose of MMI.3.The using of the combination of Modified Danzhi XiaoyaoPowder and MMI have higher safety than using MMI only.
