Research On Different Regions Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy In Chinese Traditional Treatment

ObjectivesAccording to analyze the orally Chinese medicine of DPN patients in different regions, this paper discusses the regularity of TCM clinical medication in DPN, and to further explore syndrome types,pathogenesis characteristics from their laws. Find the similarities and differences of the syndrome types between the different regions, in order to better guide clinical practice, and to take quantification treatment into a new level.MethodsCollect the orally Chinese medicine of 282 DPN patients in five hospitals, fill in retrospective information list, then use Epidata for data entry, construct DPN TCM treatment information database. Use SPSS17.0 for statistical analysis, with the method of frequency analysis, descriptive analysis.ResultThe high frequency of the medical functions in descending order in five cities as follow. Guangzhou:drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for regulating heat, drugs for removing Damp, drugs for invigorating yin; Nanning:drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for regulating heat, drugs for removing Damp, drugs for invigorating yin; Shanghai:drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for regulating heat, drugs for invigorating yin; Nanjing:drugs for regulating heat, drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for invigorating yin, drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for removing Damp; Beijing:drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for regulating heat, drugs for removing Damp, drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for invigorating yin. Commonly used medicines in five cities are Danshen,radix achyranthis bidentatae,caulis spatholobi,white atractylodes roots,glycyrrhiza,astragalus root,yams,poria,paeonia suffruticosa andr,rehmanniae,radix scrophulariae,pueraria,angelica,dogwood.ConclusionDrugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for invigorating qi, drugs for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis, drugs for regulating heat, drugs for removing Damp and drugs for invigorating yin are highest used in five cities. Five cities in the drug laws overall uniformity, but still have stressed on each. Through the formulae of the TCM drugs, the characteristics of DPN syndromes can be reflected:the common syndromes in DPN is Qi-Yin deficiency, blood stasis, dampness and heat. And blood stasis are the key to the happening and development of DPN.
