Heshouwu comes from the plant Rhizome of Polygonum multiflorum Thunb, which is a special medicine of Si chuan.2010 edition of "Chinese Pharmacopoeia" in the processed products included only Radix P. multiflori Preparata (steamed/ processed by the milk of Sojae senmen nigrum), along with the development of modern processing technology, Radix Polygoni multiflori of fermentation as a new type of fermentation product are widely used in medicine and has begun to health care productsand so on. In view of the use of Radix Polygoni multiflori of fermentation growing year by year, the current study its chemical composition is not systematic, not yet developed a set of perfect quality standards. This study received Radix Polygoni multiflori of fermentation and pharmacopoeia contained Tuber species and processing ground and underground parts of the system, main contents and results are as follows:In physical and chemical identification, we identificated the Radix P. multiflori processed product powder by microscope, that can be directly observed by the processing, some change in microstructure, such as clusters of calcium oxalate and starch grains decreased or disappeared, to promote the material basis for In-depth study. Research on TLC, we do check on the 2,3,5,4'—tetrahydroxy—stibene—2—O—β—D—glucosid, amino acids and anthraquinones, separation is good.
