Study On Hospital Information System Outsourcing Management

Along with the continuous rise of the information technology, hospitals peruse more advanced technology in order to meet business and management needs which leads the information system outsource getting more and more popular. However, the management capability of the medical institute are unlikely to match with IT vendor thus the unparallel of two can not eventually reach the result as expected.This paper work is aiming to study the characteristics and managing process of those outsourced IT projects under the background of information technology outsourcing for medical industry. Through the study of SA-CMM model, to establish an appropriate optimized management process for outsourced hospital information technology based on analyzing current situation and challenges. It contains three phases, which are project planning, project implementation management and project conclusion. Implement the optimized process management into practice by systematic, procedural and documental management, which increase the level of outsourced medicated projects. The advantage of new management procedure can be found through the comparison between previous system and newly optimized outsourced system.
