This paper consists of four chapters.In chapter one, we literature and review the definition and classification of the fingerprint chromatogram of Chinese traditional medicine and its important roles in quality control and development. At the end of the paper, we talk aboat the technology lines on fingerprint chromatogram of Chinese traditional medicine research and discuss how to establish the quality evaluation eystem of it.In chapter two, an analytical method of fingerprint of Ginseng by HPLC was established. We studied different sample pretreatment,detection wavelength, mobile phase, temperature and compared the fingerprint chromatograms of Ginseng from six different areas and kinds.Column Inertsil ODS-3(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm,) was used with the mixture of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid; the detection wavelength was 203 nm; the flow rate was 1 mL/min and the column temperature was 30℃.In chapter three, an analytical method of fingerprint of Corn Cervi Pantotri chum by HPCE was established. We studied different sample pretreatment,CE buffer and additive, detection wavelength, run voltage and compared the fingerprint chromatograms of Corn Cervi Pantotrichum from six different areas.A 75μm×60cm uncoated capillary was used with the mixture of 60mmol/L-40mmol/L urea-borate acid as CE buffer; the detection wavelength was 200 nm; the run voltage was 20KV;the inject time was 30s;the sampling pressure was 14KPa and room temperature.In the last chapter, we research on how to establish the fingerprint of Cordyceps sinensis by HPLC. We studied different sample pretreatment,detection wavelength, mobile phase, temperature and compared the fingerprint chromatograms of Cordyceps sinensis from three different areas.Column Inertsil ODS-3(250 mm×4.6 mm,5μm,) was used with the mixture of acetonitrile-0.05% phosphoric acid; the detection wavelength was 203 nm; the flow rate was 1 mL/min and the column temperature was 30℃.
