The Research Of The Relevance Between The Severity Of The Chronic Prostatitis Symptom And The Psychological Factors As Well As ED

Objective To investigate the relevance between the severity of the chronic prostatitis symptom and the psychological factors,the relevance between the severity of the chronic prostatitis symptom and ED.Provide a consultant for the evaluation and treatment of the chronic prostatitis and the accompany symptom.Method Randomly investigate 100 patients with chronic prostatitis who came to our hospital between 2009.11-2010.01.These patients were asked to fill in the NIH-CPSI,self-rating anxiety scale(SAS),self-rating depression scale(SDS), international index of erectile dysfunction(IIEF-5) and the details of the age,work,duration and EPS routine.Result We received 98 utility questionnaires,the questionnaires were divided into three groups according to the score of the NIH-CPSI.The differences of the scores of SAS and SDS between groups are significant;The differences of the scores of IIEF-5 between groups are not significant;The relevances between the scores of SAS and SDS and IIEF-5 are negative correlated.Conclusion The severity of the chronic prostatitis symptom is significantly correlated with SAS and SDS,but not correlated with IIEF-5.SAS and SDS are negative correlated with IIEF-5.
