Objectives:Observing the traditional Chinese medical symptom-type scores, Blood urea nitrogen(BUN),Serum creatinine (Scr),Creatinine clearance(Ccr) and Urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER) of Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription on the patients with deficiency of both Qi and Yin with blood stasis and diabetic nephropathy (DN); evaluating the clinical effects and security of Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription fumigation therapy in treating deficiency of both Qi and Yin with blood stasis and DN; researching the mechanism of Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription fumigation therapy.Method:Subjects were chosen based on the diagnosis standards of diabetes and DN. Forty subjects were randomly divided into the Experimental Group and Control Group, both of which were under the basic diabetic treatment and provided with Catering Management,Regular exercise,Control of blood glucose and Blood pressure. The Experimental Group was treated with Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription oral before eating(200ml, twice each day). In eight weeks of treatment, data of Blood urea nitrogen(BUN),Serum creatinine (Scr),Creatinine clearance(Ccr) and Urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER), traditional Chinese medical symptom-type scores were collected and analyzed. SPSS 17.0 was employed to conduct the statistic analyses of the effects of of Tougusan fumigation therapy on patients with deficiency of both Qi and Yin with blood stasis and DN.Results:(1) traditional Chinese medical symptom-type scores:Significant improvements were found in both the Experimental Group and the Control Group (P<0.05), and even greater effects were found in the Experimental Group with the significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05); (2) traditional Chinese medical symptom-type scores:Significant improvements were found in feel thirsty like to drink water, frequent urination at night, weakness and fatigue, hot hand-foot center and upset symptoms compared with the control group (at the significant level of.05), significant improvement was found in frequent urination at night and upset symptoms symptom (at the significant level of.01); (3) Regarding Creatinine clearance(Ccr),Urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),α1-microglobulin,β2-microglobulin:both groops have significant important(at the significant level of.05), the Experimental Group exhibited better results than the Control group(at the significant level of.05); (4) Regarding Blood urea nitrogen(BUN),Serum creatinine (Scr) after treatment both groups exhibited better results than before, but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05). Conclusion:Other than the basic diabetic treatment, Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription can significantly improve the clinic symptoms and simple screening indexes of DN patients. Some indexes outperformed those of the basic diabetic treatments, indicating that Boost Qi,Blood quickening and Zhuo excreting prescription may improve the mirco-blood circulation, promote the excretion of metabolic waste. reducing the role of protein leakage of the DN patients, hence serving as a desirable supplementary therapy for treating DN.
