Objective:Observate the clinical efficacy of Senna regulate gastrointestinal function in patient after lumbar disc herniation surgery, compared with the compound Dachengqi soup and normal saline, in order to provide a basis medication for lumbar patients who are after disc herniation surgery with gastrointestinal dysfunction. Methods:According to the Subjects into the study order, and to random number table, the included patients were randomly divided into three groups,30 cases in each group, which are senna treatment group, compound Dachengqi Tang treatment group and the saline control group. Then given senna, compound Dachengqitang and normal saline orally preoperative, given conventional treatment after, preoperative and postoperative disabling effect gastrointestinal motility drugs.Records of postoperative recovery time of borborygmus, the first exhaust time and defecation time, and extraction in patients with peripheral blood 2ml,using immunochemilu-minometric assay measured motilin(MTL) and gastrin(GAS) level in preoperative 24h,after 24h,48h and 72h.Results:1. Both group A and B are of difference between group C which were determined statistically significant in borborygmus recovery time after the surgery(p=0.000,p=0.000<0.05), group A and B are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.064>0.05); Both group B and C are of difference between group A which were determined statistically significant in the first discharge time after the surgery (p=0.001,p=0.032<0.05), group B and C are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.219>0.05); Both group A and B are of difference between group C which were determined statistically significant in the first defecation time after the surgery (p=0.030,p=0.008<0.05), group A and B are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.609>0.05).2. Compare with the level of MTL in preoperative 24h, after 24h,48h and 72h of three groups can be found that The MTL level has comparability in preoperative 24h which was determined by no significant differences in standard statistical (p as 0.064,0.617 and 0.173 is respectively more than 0.05).At the time of postoperative 24h there's no significant differences in standard statistical(P as 0.501,0.471 and 0.961 is respectively more than 0.05). Both group A and B are of difference between group C which were determined statistically significant in postoperative 48h (p=0.000,p=0.000<0.05), group A and B are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.158>0.05).Both group A and B are of difference between group C which were determined statistically significant in postoperative 48h (p=0.004,p=0.013<0.05), group A and B are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.647>0.05).3. Compare with the level of GAS in preoperative 24h, after 24h,48h and 72h of three groups can be found that the GAS level has comparability in preoperative 24h which was determined by no significant differences in standard statistical (p as 0.638,0.811 and 0.817 is respectively more than 0.05).At the time of postoperative 24h there's no significant difference in standard statistical(P as 0.070,0.348 and 0.375 is respectively more than 0.05). Both group B and C are of difference between group A which were determined statistically significant in postoperative 48h (p=0.005,p=0.002<0.05), group B and C are of difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.000<0.05).Both group A and B are of difference between group C which were determined statistically significant in postoperative 48h (p=0.140,p=0.013 <0.05), group A and B are of no difference determined in statistically significant(p=0.000 <0.05).Conclusions:1. Senna baked served with lumbar disc herniation can promote postoperative recovery of gastrointestinal function in patients with better than oral compound Dachengqitang effects, much better than normal saline group.2.GAS and MTL changes is one of the mechanisms that Senna promoting recovery of gastrointestinal function in postoperative patients.3.Senna is a laxatives that suitable for short-term, effective doses for application,.And it is cheap, easy to take, which is worthy to be popularized.
