Objective:the aim of this study was to investigate the effect of seasonal variation towards hemodynamic in patients with cerebral infaction. Methods:Transcranial Doppler was performed in cerebral infaction group and control group, which examined in winter and re-examined in summer. We observed the variation of systolinc velocity, diastolic velocity, mean velo city, pul satility index of bilateral middle cerebral artery, and then we analyzed two groups'blood flow index change in different season.Results:(1)Between cerebral infaction group and control group, the variation of PI was statistically significant.(Neither in winter nor in summer, P<0.001),PI in winter was higher then in summer.(2)Nither cerebral infaction group nor control group, the variation of blood flow index had no statistically significant in differernt season. (P>0.05).(3) The variation of Vs and Vm in regress group was statistically significant in differernt season, both Vs and Vm were obviously faster in winter then in summer. (for Vs,P<0.001,and for Vm,P<0.05).The variation of blood flow index in stable group had no statistically significant in differernt season. (P>0.05).The variation of Vs and Vm in progress group was statistically significant in differernt season, both Vs and Vm are obviously slower in winter then in summer. (for Vs,P<0.001,and for Vm,P<0.05). (4)Among the risk factors of cerebral infaction, the variation of Vs in MCA stenosis group were statistically significant, both of them were higher in winter then in summer. (P<0.05).However,the variation among Hypertension group,Dyslipidemia group, and NIHSS group had no statistically significant. (P>0.05)Conclusion:Seasonal variation is significantly associated with hemodynamic chang in cerebral infaction. The The hemodynamic chang of regress group and the progress group had an obvious seasonal pottern. The patient with MCA stenosis is more susceptible to cold stimulation.
