Effect Of Xinzhi Bimin Capsule On The Expressions Of Eotaxin And CCR3 In The Upper And Lower Respiratory Of Experimental Allergic Rhinitis In Sprague-Dawley Rats

Objective : To investigate the expressions of eotaxin and ccr3mRNA in the nasal mucosa and the lung tissue of experimental allergic rhinitis in Sprague-Dawley rats, and identify the mechanism of pharmacodynamic action of Xinzhi Bimin capsule group. Methods: Fourty healthy SD rats were randomly divided into 4 groups: normal group, allergic rhinitis models group , Biyankang capsule group and Xinzhi Bimin capsule group(n=10). Ovalbumin sensitized rats used as animal of AR were taken orally with the Xinzhi Bimin capsule and Biyankang capsule. The expressions of eotaxin in the nasal mucosa and the lung tissue were detected in situ Hybridization and ccr3mRNA were detected in Immunohistochemistry. Results : Expressions of eotaxin and ccr3mRNA were found in both normal SD rats and allergic rhinitis SD rats. The expressions of eotaxin and ccr3mRNA in the nasal mucosa and the lung tissue of allergic rhinitis SD rats were significantly higher than normal group (P<0.05).Expressions of ccr3mRNA of Biyankang capsule group is lower than Biyankang capsule group (P<0.05) . Expressions of eotaxin of Biyankang capsule group is lower than Biyankang capsule group (P>0.05) . Conclusion : The result suggests that the capsule of Xinzhi Bimin may be can reduce the infiltration of eosinophil and treat the symptom of AR in rat by down-regulating the activation of eotaxin and ccr3.
