Rhinitis is a very frequent condition and it has been estimated that up to40%of the population suffers from the nasal symptoms of rhinitis at some timeduring their life. In recent years, AR has become increasingly relevant due to itseffect on quality of life, productivity at school and work, the socioeconomicburden it generates, and its coexistence with other clinical manifestations suchas asthma, conjunctivitis, otitis, rhinosinusitis, and nasal polyps. AR has beentraditionally classified as perennial or seasonal, depending on the kind ofallergen responsible for the symptoms. However, this classi fi cation is nolonger satisfactory for a health care setting, because patients are becomingincreasingly sensitized to different allergens, and pollens and molds can triggerseasonal symptoms in some patients. The ARIA document (Allergic Rhinitisand its Impact on Asthma), published in2001, classifi ed AR according to itsduration as“intermittent” or “persistent.” It also introduced a classifi cation ofseverity depending on its impact on quality of life (disturbing symptoms, impairments in daily life, impairments in work and school performance, sleepdisorders), de fi ning rhinitis as mild when patients do not suffer from any ofthese4items, and moderate-severe when patients suffer from at least1of them. This differentiation would enable us to define new strategies for therapy andfollow-up, both in clinical practice and in clinical trials. With the developmentof medical science, the therapies of allergic rhinitis have made Great progress, yet so far,the best cure havenot found.so, Common goal having been emergedin Scholars both at home and abroad to therapeutic strategy.Allergic rhinitis is a condition caused by immunoglobulin E(IgE)-mediated inflammatory reactions within the nasal mucosa.According to the Th1/Th2paradigm,in flammation associated with allergic rhinitis is regarded asa Th2-dominant immune response with effector cytokines, such asIL-3,IL-4,IL-5andIL-13, which liberated by allergen reactive Th2cells,IL-4plays a primary role in class switching of B cells toward IgE production (2),regulate TARC and eotaxin-2production,while IL-5in proliferation/differentiation of eosinophil lineage.TARC and eotaxin2are CC chemokine whose high affinity receptors areccr4and ccr3,which selectively expressed on human Th2cell. TARC andeotaxin-2are induced by TH2cytokines.In vitro studies have revealed thatTARC and eotaxin-2facilitate the recruitment, activation and development ofTh2polarized cells, accelerate selective eosinophil migration。so our resultssuggest that Th2cytokines IL-4and IL-13may promote Th2responses byinducing TARC production from Monocytes, activated endothelial cells anddendritic cells。Based on the theories,ELISA is applied to assay chemokines ofTARC and Eotaxin-2of allergic rhinitis patients and non-allergic rhinitispatients. discusses the role and clinical significance in allergic rhinitis。AffordTheories to treat allergic rhinitis.Chemokines of TARC and Eotaxin-2wereassaied in64allergic rhinitis patients and Septal Deviation patients, discussesthe role of them in pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis. The Following Conclusion:High basal level of TARC and Eotaxin-2are detected in the ARpatients.statistically significant increase compared with NAR as determined byStudent’s t test(p<0.05), TARC shows positive correlation with Eotaxin-2bylinear correlation analysi(sr=0.880, P<0.01).The relationship of level of TARCand Eotaxin-2with severity of allergic rhinitis.Comparing mild persistent withmoderate-severe persistent. Rhinitis show No correlations. In a word, TARC and Eotaxin-2play a very important Role inpathogenesis of allergic rhinitis. They will be a new targets for treat AR. Yet,the expression intensity of TARC and Eotaxin-2have no relation to varying severity of allergic symptoms.Though mild persistent patients donot sufferimpairments in daily life, impairments in work and school performance, sleepdisorders, the level of TARC and Eotaxin-2are high in serum. Standard oftreatment were ignored,so, we shoud pay attention to mild persistent patients.
