Objective: To investigate the expression of ASPP1 and iASPP protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas and to explore the relationship of ASPP1 and iASPP expression of the p53 expression.Methods:40 laryngeal squamous cell carcinomas (LSCC) cases and 40 polyp of vocal cord were included in this study. The expression of ASPP1 ,iASPP and P53 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma tissue was detected by immunohistochemistry staining .Results: Evaluated by immunohistochemistry staining, there was significant difference in expression of ASPP1 and iASPP in laryngeal cancer tissue and vocal cord polyp tissue when p53 expressed nagetive. When the p53 expressed negative, the cancer ASPP1 expression was significantly lower than vocal polyps; iASPP expression was significantly higher than the vocal cord polyps. The expression of ASPP1,iASPP had no relationship with the expression of P53.Conclusion: When the p53 expressed negative ,The expression of ASPP1 in laryngeal cancer tissue decreased, the expression of iASPP increased .There was significant relationship between the expression of ASPP1,iASPP and the causes of laryngeal cancer .
