Clinical Study Of Danju Granules In Treating The Yin Deficiency And Blood Stasis Type Of MS

BACKGROUND:With in the increasing of people's life level and the changing of life model, the incidence of MS is increasing year by year, which is one of the great dieses. MS and its complication will take burden for human and society, which influence patients' life. Most of modern Chinese doctor believe spleen and kidney deficiency and liver and spleen stagnation is the main theme of MS, both reinforce each other, and then show dampness, qi stagnation, blood stasis interactive features of pathological changes.PURPOSE:This study will show the effect of Lipids, blood pressure improvement and hypoglycemic effect after therapy with Chinese National name director Xie Changren's Danju granules.the result will be showed by study for observation the changing of pro-treatment and pos-treatment about blood glucose, insulin, glycosylated hemoglobin, Insulin sensitivity index, blood fat,BMI, blood pressure. This study will show the theory and estimate of MS treatment by Danju granules. So that,this study have some value of theory and reality.STUDY METHODS:The patients are from Nanjing Chinese medicine hospital in April 2009 to January 2009,both the outpatients and patients admitted to hospital,and confirmed the diagnosis of both metabolism syndrome and yin deficiency and blood stasis type in Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are 33 patients, contains 12 male patients and 21 female patients.The hole period is 30 days. Then detected lipid by zymology; glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1C) by microclumu chromatography; fasting plasma glucose (FPG) by glucose oxidase.RESULTS:This study observed 33 cases of yin deficiency and blood stasis in patients with metabolic syndrome treated by danju granules for 1 month, the following conclusions:1. there are positive change in clinic sign with the yin deficiency and blood stasis type patients which were treated by Danju granules.2.after treatment by Danju granules, the patients have improved situation in fasting blood glucose, postprandial glucose, glycated hemoglobin,Triglyceride,low density lipoprotein, and Insulin sensitivity index 3. after treatment by Danju granules,there are decreasing of patients'BMI and the blood pressure.CONCLUSION:Treatment based on syndrome differentiation in Traditional Chinese Medicine has advantage in improving clinical symptom, we get it through the yin deficiency and blood stasis type patients which were treated by Danju granules。It improves the quality of life of patients, to improve laboratory indices also have a certain effect.
