The modern pharmacology shows that the Ginkgo Terpene Lactones in the leaves of Ginkgo biloba L.have the functions of anti-oxidation,removing the excessive free radicals in organism, preventing the lipid in vivo from over oxidation, enhancing the body immunity, promoting blood circulation and brain metabolism, anti-aging and preventing nervous system diseases and so on.Bilobalide is a specific active ingredient in GBE, and its neurotrophic, neuroprotective effects are stronger than other Ginkgo Lactones.In this paper, Bilobalide is the object of the research. The raw extraction of Bilobalide was made from GBE, and then purified by silica gel column chromatography and recrystallization the methods of Chromatography on silica gel and recrystallizing were used to the isolation and purification. The results were shown as follows:1. After studying a great deal of literatures, the chromatography on silica gel was used for the isolation of Bilobalide, and the technology of chromatogram was optimized by found by the single factor experiments and orthogonal experiments. The conditions were:eluent is petroleum ether and ethyl acetate (6:4),the flow rate is 2 L/h, the quality of sample is 156 g. The 7th to 10th parts of eluent were collected and concentrated in the condition of depressing the pressure.Finally, the content of Bilobalide was 82%analyzed by HPLC.2. Using the method of recrystallizing, the content of Bilobalide monomer could be promoted to 98%.3. After analysing the crystal by spectroscopy,i.e.,IR,MS,NMR, the product was determined to be Bilobalide.
