Exogenous pestilence disease is caused by evil with a strong infectious easily cause a pandemic of a class of acute febrile diseases, collectively; is one of the worst destruction diseases in the ancient Chinese people's health and lives. In recent years, people gradually understand the struggle of man with the disease will continue, the epidemic prevention there is a long journey. Outbreak investigations and epidemiological studies of ancient, the theory of ancient disease and Chinese medicine a comprehensive study of party rule, which for the traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine and other related subjects of research has potential value can not be underestimated.In this paper, South Fujian documentation of the epidemic in Ming-Qing Dynasty has been done systematically comprehensive survey and analysis, then combined with the disease and its distribution in kind and related natural and social background to investigate the characteristics and laws of South Fujian epidemic diseases in Ming-Qing Dynasty. Analysisn the disease prevention and control of the situation in South Fujian in Ming-Qing Dynasty, will explained various social phenomena which related epidemic diseases,which as an expression of epidemic diseases on human social life in South Fujian far-reaching implicationsPrevalence of disease from the available information of South Fujian in Ming-Qing Dynasty has the following characteristics:the epidemic of Ming Dynasty is higher than the Qing Dynasty; epidemic occurred in the summer more time; Zhangzhou, Quanzhou and Xiamen have occurred epidemic average;more types of disease, in which the maximum frequency in the occurrence of plague; natural disasters and social events can be triggered or aggravated the prevalence of disease; disease epidemic affect interactive social activities in South Fujian.This paper analyzed the collection of the relevant literature, summarizes some rules about incidence and prevalence of disease in South Fujian in Ming-Qing Dynasty and commen Ming-Qing Dynasty in South Fujian on the interaction between the disease and to macro-socialt.On one hand to fill the Ming-Qing Dynasty Fujian region disease gaps in literature, while complement and improve previous small-scale survey analysis of ancient diseases, on the other hand to learn from today's epidemic prevention work.
