The Expression Of ER,PR And VEGF In Male Patients With Non-small Cell Lung Cancer And Their Clinical Significance

Objective: To examinate the expression of Estrogen receptor(ER) and Progesterone receptor(PR) and Vascular ednothelial growth factor receptor(VEGFR) between the male patients with non-small cell lung cancer and benign tumor of lung by using a type of two steps with immuno-histochemistry staining,and to evaluate the expression of ER and PR and VEGFR in male patients with NSCLC and their clinical significance.Methods:1.41cases non-small lung cancer samples and 20 cases benign tumor of lung were collected from the department of thoracic surgery of JiangXi Tumor Hospital in 2007-2009.There were the male patients and had not radiation and chemotherapy in preoperative,and 10cases normal lung tissues as a contorl group.2. To evaluate the expression of ER and PR and VEGFR by using a type of two steps with immuno-histochemistry staining in routine paraffin-embedded sections from 41 cases of non-small cell lung cancer tissues and 20 cases of benign tumor of lung and 10 cases normal lung tissues.3.The expression of ER,PR,VEGFR in light of the observations by using PV9000 immune reagents box as immuno-histochemistry staining,having the chromatin positive slices as the positive expression on the same condition with the PBS of resistance as the negative cross.Results:1. The positive rates of ER and PR and VEGFR in 41 cases of non-small cell lung cancer tissues were 34.15% and 29.26% and 80.48%,and have no positive expression in benign tumor of lung tissues and normal lung tissues.2.The expression of ER and PR in lung adenocarcinoma tissues have significantly higher rates than in lung squamous carcinoma tissues.3.The expression of VEGFR has no obvious difference between lung adenocarcinoma tissues and lung squamous carcinoma tissues.Conclusions:1. ER,PR are expressed in assuming height in lung adenocarcinoma organization.2. The expression of ER and PR have significant correlation with some pathological characteristics of lung cancer tissues,such as the degree of differentiation ,pathological type ,lymph node metastasis and TNM classification,and have no significant relationship with the patients,age.3. The expression of VEGFR has significant correlation with the degree of differentiation,lymph node metastasis and TNM classification , and have no significant relationship with the patients,age and pathological types.4. There may be no ignificant relationship with the expression of ER and PR and VEGFR in non-small cell lung cancer tissues.
