A Clinical And Laboratory Study Of The Analgesic And Anti-inflammatory Properties Of XinShang No.1 Cream

Motivation: Through studying XinShang No. 1 Cream in both animal trials and clinical observations, this paper discusses the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of XinShang No. 1 Cream for acute soft tissue injury and observes the clinical treatment of the medicine to treat acute soft tissue injury.1.Animal experiments:Method:â‘ Observe the anti-inflammatory properties of XinShang No. 1 Cream through laboratory testing of mice with ears swollen by xylene and of rats with feet swollen by egg white.â‘¡Observe the analgesic property of XinShang No. 1 Cream using a hotplate/writhing test.Results:â‘ Xylene / mouse ear experiment: obviously reduced swelling (P<0.05) of mice in the groups of positive control, small dose of XinShang No. 1 Cream, medium dose of XinShang No. 1 Cream, and large dose of XinShang No. 1 Cream. The swelling inhibition ratios are 36.24%, 27.74%, 37.60%, 38.42% respectively. Egg white / rat foot experiment: there is an obvious treatment difference between the XinShang No. 1 Cream large dose group and the positive control group: XinShang No. 1 Cream can greatly inhibit the swelling of mice ears caused by xylene and the swelling of rat feet caused by white eggs.â‘¡It is observed from the Hot Plate test that, as compared to the group of mice with NS , the groups of mice with XinShang No. 1 Cream, and Buty Flufenzmatum Ointment Have a different extension in the mouse hot-plate latency of licking hind in 60 minutes or 90 minutes after the feet of the mice touch the medicine; it is observed from the writhing test that XinShang No. 1 Cream,can greatly inhibit the writhing caused by 0.3% ethylic acid. The amount of writhing in each group is obviously lower than that of the Blank group (P<0.05). Meanwhile, the drug was significantly extended the mice by intraperitoneal injection of acetic acid writhing response induced by the incubation time.As for the amount of writhing, it decreases with increasing concentration of XinShang No. 1. Moreover, the groups with medium doses and large doses display similar analgesic effects to the positive control group.Conclusion: XinShang No. 1 has obvious analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.2.Clinical study:Method: 60 acute soft tissue injured patients are randomly assigned into two groups: 30 injured patients in the treatment group and 30 injured patients in the control group. Patients in the treatment group use medium dose XinShang No. 1; patients in the control group use Buty Flufenzmatum Ointment After 7 days'continuous course treatment, the clinical curative effect is observed and compared.Results: The treatment group has a total effective rate of 96.67% and an obvious effective rate of 73.33%; the control group has a total effective rate of 96.67% and an obvious effective rate of 50%. Hence, there is no obvious difference in total effective rate between the two groups (P>0.05). However, the obvious effective rate of the treatment group is much better than that of the control group (P<0.05). Also, there are obvious difference between the treatment of swollen and ecchymosis of the two groups.Conclusion: XinShang No. 1 Cream can obviously relieve pain, reduce swelling, and remove blood stasis for acute soft tissue injuries.
