PARTⅠEVALUATING THE HIP JOINTS'BLOOD FLOW OF THE TRAIENT SYNOVITIS OF THE HIP WITH ULTRASONOGRAPHYObjective:To investigate the value of Color Doppler flow imaging (CDFI) in evaluating the blood flow of hip joints in the traient synovitis of the hip of rabbits.Method:To set up the animal model of the transient synovitis of the hip by means of injecting 2% Nora-drenaline(NA) into the hip joint cavity. The rabbits were examined with CDFI to study the characterize of hip joints'blood supply before the injection of NA and third day, first week, sencond week after the injection of NA. The characterize of hip joints'blood supply were examined including the flow velocity of the lateral ascending cervical arteries . Pathological changes were observed to understand the disease course.X-ray Was adopted to exmine the hip.Results:1. It caused the transient synovitis of the hip after injecting 2% Nora-drenaline(NA) into the hip joint cavity. Abnormalities in the injured side of the hip joints were displayed. Obviously increased blood signal of the synovial membrane of articular capsule detected after 3 days of injecting NA, but gradually decreased later, and became similar to normal after 2 weeks.2. After 3rd day of the NA injection, rare blood signal of hip joints were detected and the flow velocity of the lateral ascending cervical arteries and the small blood vessel into femoral epiphysis were lower than before the injection of corticosteroid(P <0.01). After 1st week of the NA injection, few blood signal of hip joints were detected . the flow velocity of the lateral ascending cervical arteries , the lateral ascending cervical vena and the small vessel into femoral epiphysis were lower than before the injection of NA(P <0.05).Conclusions:CDFI has an important role in monitoring changes of blood supply, and affords clinical application value in the therapeutic effect observation in transient synovitis of the hip in children. PARTⅡEVALUATING THE TRANIENT SYNOVITIS OF THE HIP WITH COLOR DOPPLER ULTRASONOGRAPHYObjective: To investigate the value of color Doppler ultrasonography in early diagnosis and subsequent follow-up of the transient synovitis of the hip in children. Methods: Color Doppler ultrasonography was performed on 80 children with transient synovitis of the single hip. The children took supine position or prone position. The hip joints were examined with ultrasound imaging from separately from inside to outside carries on longitudinal and crosswise sweeps looks up to observe the articular surface of femoral head and the thickness of synovial membrane of articular capsule. The characteristics of the blood signal changes in the synovial membrane of the hip joint were observed with CDFI before treatment, 4 days and 8 days after treatment, while the normal hip joints were examined as the controls.Results:1. Abnormalities in the injured side of the hip joints were displayed in all 80 children. 80 injured hip joints were detected the synovial membrane of articular capsule thicking and fluid of articular cavity. 2. Obviously increased blood signal of the injured side was detected with injured before treatment, CDFI distribute 0~3, but gradually decreased 4 days after treatment, and became similar to the healthy side after 8 days. Conclusion: CDFI has an important role in monitoring changes of blood supply, and affords clinical application value in the therapeutic effect observation in transient synovitis of the hip in children.
