Peer conflict resolution strategy is a very important skill in peer interaction, which directly affects a person's social adaptation; therefore it has long-term social value and practical significance to effectively solving the conflict among peers. While toddler period is one of the fastest time of social development, so to research the characteristics of peer conflict resolution strategy in early childhood is particularly important. And the domestic researches on the related factors of peer conflict resolution strategy are rare especially the stage of children of this stage of toddler period. Subjects in this study consist of 126 children aged four to six, male and female ratio is equal. It uses the methods of questionnaire and story interview to measure the peer conflict resolution strategy among 4~6 years old children. This study separately from the child himself, family and kindergarten education to explore the peer conflict resolution strategy. And the characteristics of children themselves, it chooses temperament and multiple intelligence level of children as an indicator, family parenting styles is selected as an indicator of the factor of family, and the mix-age education of Montessori is selected as compared with normal age class.Conclusion: (1) There are significant differences among 4 to 6-year-old children in the maturity of peer conflict resolution strategy; the overall trend is the maturity is coming with increasing age. Meanwhile, there are still significant age differences in the frequency of strategies of problem solving, seeking help and ignore. The frequency of problem-solving strategies shows a upward trend with age; and ignore strategy and help-seeking strategies shows a downward trend with age.(2)There is no significant gender differences in the maturity of peer conflict resolution strategies among four to six children, though girls scores slightly higher than boys. However, There is gender differences in the frequency of attack strategy , which more boys than girls tend to use the attack strategy.(3)There are closely relationships between peer conflict resolution strategy and temperament, multiple intelligence level and family parenting styles .The linguistic intelligence, interpersonal intelligence of multiple intelligence, activity of the temperament and democratic type of parenting styles can predict the development of peer conflict resolution strategies.(4)The mix-age education gives a promotional power on the maturity of peer conflict resolution strategies.
