The Prehistoric Culture And National Origin Of West Liaohe River Valley

This is a key project in Liaoning Social Science Fund,"The integrated study of the prehistoric archaeology and the origin of civilization in the upper Liaohe River"and aimed at the countries of origin were reviewed research. Since the last century, the West Liaohe River has made significant progress in prehistoric archeology, related experts and scholars have done a lot of case studies, which studies the origin of the country is more abundant. This paper systematically introduces the West Liaohe River Basin's prehistoric archaeological discoveries, including the Xinglongwa culture, Zhaobaogou culture, Rich river culture, the Hongshan culture, Xiaoheyan culture and Xiajiadian culture. To the Hongshan culture as a series of major research object, summed up the typical sites excavated and national origin-related sites, artifacts, focus from the ritual system of origin, settlement, city sites, pottery and metal smelting five aspects of exposition tried nearly two to three decades to about the West Liaohe River Basin countries of origin reviewed the status of research and analysis, as fully as possible into different categories to summarize previous research results. In addition, anthropological theories related to national origin and archaeological theory have been described, and carried out further discussion. Finally, on the West Liaohe River valley of the prehistoric culture and national origin of the reflection of this issue, That of national origin can not be confined to the symbol of state formation and state when and where in the ground, should explore why the origin of civilization and the early state of motivation.
