The measure words takes an important role in Han-Tibetan family language, it is also a complicated system. For the people whose mother language is Chinese, it is difficult to choose the measure word exactly. To study measure word is most difficult in Chinese for the foreigners. This thesis trys to study the evolution of "ke" "li" "mei" in history and compares grammar,semantic meaning in modern Chinese for discussion of basical difference and reason of quantifying different nouns. At the same time,this thesis trys to search for a useful way of distinguishing the similar measure words. The thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the generality, introducing the survey of present research, the purpose of the topic, the character of measure word in Chinese and the origin of making mistakes in studying Chinese. To show the way:to make clear the origin of the measure words and the evolution in history. Then compare them in terms of Chinese culture. Finally, introducing the methods are combined synchronically and diachronically.The second part describes the evolution of "ke" "li" "mei" and compare them. Brief period of three words in each trend. The development process of "ke" and "li" is "noun—measure word—preliminary development of measure word—further development of measure word". "Mei" by the "noun measure word generalization of measure word shrinking of measure word".Then to trace their own development path of "ke" "li" "mei". Finally, to compare the production time, the development path, quantify range.The third part is the synchronic comparison of "ke" "li" "mei" in modern Chinese. First of all, to compare the semantic meaning. Through semantic feature analysis, to make sure the of semantic similarities and differences. Indicating the range of application in modern Chinese. Secondly, compare the grammatical features of the three measure word from the perspective of syntactic features and lexical features. Finally, to distinguish between the three measure words from the semantic color:images of different colors, different modal colors, different color styleThe forth part is the foreign language teaching of "ke" "li" "mei". Firstly, to describe the current situation of foreign language teaching on the whole. Questionnaire survey conduct by students to learning to understand the actual situation of the three measure words and find problems of learning. Discriminating the three measure words from the perspective of teaching, to find out the difference between them. Finally, sum up the methods and steps of discriminating the three measure words.The fifth part is the conclusion. Summarizing the complete thesis.
