Jealousy which exists among undergraduates is a common social psychological phenomenon. And among vocational students, a special group of the undergraduates, jealousy also finds its place. Jealousy is a negative and even hostile emotional experience of an individual's cognitive comparison of his subjective distance (value) with others. This negative emotion can not only affect one's psychological health, but also lead to some radical actions, and finally harm oneself and others. Emotional regulations is what an individual's emotion is, when the emotion occurs and how emotion affects emotion experience and expression in the course of emotional development, that is, emotion regulations can have influence on an individual's emotional experience and negative emotional expression. Coping method is cognitive and behavioral method of an individual in his daily incidents and the imbalance caused by daily incidents. It is a behavioral method when an individual faces difficulties and adversities. Therefore, theoretically, good emotion regulations and coping method can reduce an individual's jealous experience and bad jealous behaviors. This research mainly discusses vocational students'jealousy and its relationship with their emotion regulations and coping methods.This research applied Bringle Self-Report Jealousy Scale, jealousy behavior response questionnaire, emotion regulation method questionnaire and simple responding methods questionnaire. And 477 vocational students were involved. The writer analyzed the data and modle with SPSS13.0 and AMOS4.0 and finally came to a conclusion as follows:1. Jealous emotion is a wide spread emotion existing among vocational students. And among others, jealousy for love and social status are the most obvious. And as for jealousy for social status, there is significant difference in gender, grade, and the fact whether possessing siblings or not. Female students are more jealous than male students; second-year students more jealous than freshmen; and those with siblings more jealous than those without.2. Vocational students'jealous behaviors are mainly negative wise behaviors, and significant differences exist in gender, grade, and the nature of their majors. Females'negative wise and evasive behaviors are higher than males. Second-year students'revenging and evasive behaviors are higher than freshmen. Negative wise behaviors of students of science are higher than those of students of art.3. For vocational students, their happiness regulation level is the highest, and fear regulation level is the lowest. They tend to emphasize and outlet their positive emotions and ignore and oppress their negative emotions. As for positive emotions, male students use more reducing regulations (ignore and oppress), while female students use more strengthening regulations (emphasize and outlet). As for negative emotions, males apply more oppressing regulations than females; second-year male students of science are less than second-year females. For students of art, male students use more oppressing regulations than females; among them, male freshmen are less than male second-year students. For female students of science, freshmen use less oppressing regulations than second-years. For second-year male students, students of science use less than those of art; and for second-year female students, students of science use more than those of art.4. Vocational students mainly take positive coping methods, and second-year students take more negative ways than freshmen. Freshmen of art are more positive than second-year students of art and second-year students of science are more positive than second-year students of art.5. The modle shows that negative emotion emphasizing regulations have direct influence on jealousy; through negative emotion emphasizing regulations negative emotion outlet regulations have indirect effect on jealousy; negative coping methods and jealousy have direct influence on revenging behaviors; positive emotion emphasizing regulations, negative emotion emphasizing regulations, negative emotion oppressing regulations, negative emotion outlet regulations and positive coping methods have indirect influence on revenging behaviors; negative coping method and positive emotion emphasizing regulations have both direct and indirect effect on evasive behaviors; jealousy, negative emotion oppressing regulations and positive coping methods affect directly positive wise behaviors; negative emotion emphasizing and outlet regulations affect indirectly positive wise behaviors; positive emotion emphasizing regulations and negative emotion oppressing regulations have direct influence on negative wise behaviors and negative emotion outlet regulations and positive coping methods have indirect influence on negative wise behaviors.
