The Huanglao Silk's Political Thoughts Based On Its Reformation Of Lao-Tzu's "daoism" And "virtue"

ContentThe theory of HuangDi(abbreviated as Huang Theory ) which evolved from Warring States Period and prospered in the beginning of Han Dynasty , and the earlier theory of LaoZi(abbreviated as Lao Theory), are two exotic flowers of acdamic forest. The"Huanglao Theory"that possesed the characters of both Huang Theory and Lao Theory is the only theory which can go against with Confuciaism. The"Huanglao Theory"is the important genre of chinese traditional culture. Despite the"Huanglao Theory"occupied the lofty status of the mainstream ideology in the early years of the Han Dynasty, it had been neglected for almost two tousands years until Huanglao silk(abbreviated as the silk) was excavated from Mawangdui tomb in 1973. The silk filled the gaps in the acdamic.Through the silk, we can glimpse the panorama and evolution of Huanhglao Thought. Many experts and scholars pay much attation on the study of the silk, what propel the develapment of political thoughts and chinese traditional culture. The silk are foundation works of"Huanglao Theory", the main idea of it belongs to Tao-Chia. It developed the concept of"daoism"and"virtue".Lao-Tzu,which has five thouands words,concludes the science of nature and life.There are many profound concents waiting us to excavate.The philosophic thinking of Lao-Tzu is based on"daoism"and"virtue"."Daoism"and"virtue"stands for Lao-Tzu's basic knowledge of universe, it is the unity between world view and methodology.As the foundation works of"Huanglao Theory",the differernt comprehension of"daoism"and"virtue"in the silk,makes the political thoughts and governing principles of the silk differerent from Lao-Tzu. The differences between the silk and Lao-Tzu on"daoism"and"virtue"are the keystone of this article.The silk shows us abundant social political and pilosophical thoughts, it provides evidence for the idea that"Huanglao Theory"originates from Taoism.The research on the difference of"daoism"and"virtue"between Lao-Tzu and the silk is one important key to understand the political thoughts of the silk, is one way to acquire the inheritance and variation from orthodox Taoism to Huanglao Theory, is one efficient means to study chinese archaic political thoughts.This paper has expanded the political thoughts system of the silk. Furthorfore, it pointed out some revelation of the political thoughts that involved in the silk in recent reality.
