The Ideal Construction Of Human Utopia And The Poetic Description Of Love Tragedy

"Bian Cheng "(written by Shen Cong wen)and "Jmmensee"(written by Theoder Storm)own their popularities as novelle in Chinese and Western literature history. They both create a wonderful human world which is full of simplicity as well as honesty and is away from political conflics. Though the love they both depict is so poetic,it comes to a tragedy end. Therefore, I deeply anatomize these two novels and find out the reasons behind the texts and the deep meanings of them with the analysing of the collective content—The ideal construction of human Utopia and the poetic description of love tragedy. In that case, I hope this trial will discover some common rules behind the various phenomena of Chinese and Western literature.
