The Research On Musical Aesthetic Value From The Case Of "Miss Saigon"

Musical is a newly performing art appeared at 20th century, which consists of the song, dance and drama. Because the musical uses many new technologies of dance aesthetics, it is accepted by more and more people. However, there are still many voices of slander, and some one even considered it as a clown with no aesthetic value. To solve this problem, this paper makes a research on musical from the case of Miss Saigon. The aim is to complete the value system of musical, and make better understanding of musical aesthetic value. Based on the introduction of the basic concept and origin of musical, the birth, drama and the position of Miss Saigon are presented. After that, the aesthetic value of Miss Saigon is analyzed in both the natural and social attributes, and then the double features of musical aesthetic value are analyzed. Finally, the implementation conditions and ways of musical aesthetic value are discussed, and then the social significance and the future of musical are proposed, respectively.
