With the improvment of our people's live and the change of the life style,the incidence of fatness is increasing fast these years.Through an investigating on 208620 children of age 0-7 in 11 cities in 1996,found that the detectable rate of fatness is 2%(that is 0.9% in 1986).The detectable rate of fatness is higher in senior children and teenagers than young children.30% of these fat children can last this fat condition to their adulthood,and they are the most origine of severe obesity and cardiovascular disease patients in adult.Fatness not only has huge influence on children's body shape and function,but also threaten their health and life's quality, especially the fat people's psychological injury and behavioral departure, discrimination when they enter a higher school or find a job,these will be a stubborn improblem in society in the future. Fatness has influence on children's body and mentle health,especially on mentle health.Because their overstaffed body and clumsy in their movement,fat children offen feel aloneness and inferiority complex.The stage of primary school is the key period of training interpersonal relationship,the bad peer relationship may influence the ability of interpersonal relationship and social adjustment.This thesis make comparisons on fat and normal children in peer relationship and mental health,the purpose is to find some problems,provide datas for school and parents in education,also supply some solution and proposals.On the foundation of refering to numerous correlative documents, choose 154 children in Shun Geng primary school as testees,divide into fat and normal group,use the peer relation questionnaire and mental health test,make comparisons on fat and normal children in peer relation and mental health,the result is as following: 1.Obese children and normal children have distinct difference on peer acceptance,inferiority and peer relation questionnaire totle score,obese children has worse peer relationship.They don't have distinct difference on mental health test.2.Boys and girls have distinct difference on peer acceptance,inferiority and peer relation questionnaire totle score,girls has lower peer acceptance,they are more self-contemptuous.Boys and girls have no distinct difference on mental health test.But girls'mental health standard is lower than boys.3.These three grades have no distinct difference on peer relation questionnaire and mental health test.4.Group and grade have distinct interaction on contact fear and peer relation totle score,normal group in grade 4 and normal group in grade 5 have distinct difference,and,grade 5 has more contact fear than grade 4.Gender and grade have distinct interaction on peer acceptance and peer relation totle score,boys in grade 4 are higher in peer acceptance than boys in grade 6.Group and grade have distinct interaction on study anxiety and mental health totle score,obese group in grade 4 has more study anxiety than normal group.Gender and grade have distinct interaction on lonely tendency,girls in grade 5 has more lonely tendency than girls in grade 6.5.Peer relation and mental health both have distinct relativity in obese and normal group.In obese group,peer relation has distinct positive correlation with antipersonnel anxiety,lonely tendency and mental health total score.In normal group,all the factors of peer relation have distinct positive correlation with mental health.Peer acceptance and peer relation total score can predict mental health well.
