The Study Of Five Dynasties And Ten Kingdoms Period Of Poet And Poetry

During the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, the country fell apart and small states existed everywhere. This period, if measured according to political areas, can be divided into a number of small literary groups. Five Dynasties poetry stands between Tang Dynasty poetry and Song Dynasty poetry, and it is the transition period from Tang Dynasty poetry to Song Dynasty poetry. Its existence and development laid a good foundation for the prosperity of the later Song Dynasty poetry. Machu literary, is one of those literature groups in the Five Dynasties period. It not only has large scale poetry community, but also saves numbers of poetry work. Its existence preserves the strength of literature of the Five Dynasties. By conducting research and study to the scholar community under the Machu regime, it can be revealed from one side of the special value of the Five Dynasties literature. Meanwhile, the Chu kingdom literature under Markov regime is also one major stage in the historical development of Huxiang literature and contributed a lot to the characteristic development of Huxiang literature. So I selected the subject "of the study of Machu poetry in the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period" and made in-depth study to Machu poetry. The outline is as follow,The first part is to analyze the social background of China as well as Machu area during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms Period with the view of teasing out the social environment that Machu literature generated from. The stability and prosperity of Machu regime provided a favorable social condition for Machu literature; convenient traffic offered a beneficial natural factor for its development.The second part, by doing research to the scholars in Machu area, we try to collect and outline the scale of poet community in this area as well as the number of their works in order to get a more comprehensive understanding of the Machu poetry. During the research on Machu poets, we divide the poets into three types:the monk poets, the Shogunate poets and the hermit poets, in this way we can describe preliminarily the identity and experience of Machu poets.The third part is through researching on Ma Chu poets'gathering meeting exchange to learn about their activities and exchanges. In accordance with the research results of Machu poets, their activities are divided into folk poet gatherings and shogunate poet gatherings. By their gathering exchanges, we can see their creation direction, and reveal their creation mentality, as well as they are in what kind of position under Machu regime.The fourth part is to make research and analysis into Machu poetry, and divided Machu poetry into three types:responsorial and Valedictory poems, landscape and scenery poems, descriptive and philosophical poems. And by starting from the content and the form of poetry we explore the difference and new changes between Machu poetry and the poetry before that, and identify that by comparing with other poetry, Machu poetry holds a unique position and influence in the Five Dynasties period even in the Classical Chinese Poetry.
