The Relationship Between Student Achievement Goal Orientation,Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy And Career Maturity

The degree of career maturity refers to the level of individuals' career development goals at certain career stages, including knowledge and attitude.Some studies suggest that achievement goal orientation and career decision-making self-efficacy has an important role in career maturity.Social psychologists believe that achievement goal orientation is social cognitive orientation that embodies in achievement motivation research. On the unique context of education and culture, the instrument goal orientation has more significant impact on the behavior of students.On the basis of this study, we distinguishes between instrument-approach and instrument-avoidance goal orientation.This study attempts to understand the relationship between students goal orientation and career maturity.This study compiled student achievement goal orientation scale, used interviews and questionnaires method. The subjects are asked to completed career maturity scale, achievement goal orientation scale and career decision-making self-efficacy scale, on the basis of this, through statistical analysis reached the following conclusions:1,The questionnaire consists of six dimensions, mastery-approach, mastery-avoidance,performance-approach,performance-avoidance,instrument-approach,instrument-avoidance. The questionnaire has showed better Reliability and Validity.2,The part of student achievement goal orientation factors and total scores have significant differences in gender,grades and professionals.3,The part of career decision-making self-efficacy factors and total scores have significant differences in gender,grades and professionals.4,The part of career maturity factors and total scores have significant differences in gender,grades and professionals.5,There was significant correlation between student achievement goal orientation,career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity.6,The part of student achievement goal orientation factors and career decision-making self-efficacy factors can predict career maturity.7,Student career decision-making self-efficacy partly play a meditative role between part of achievement goal orientation factors and career maturity factors.
