Meta-memory monitoring and control is an important part of metacognition,and the study of the their relationship has been the focus of meta-cognitive research.At present,the study of the relationship between judgment of learning(JOL)and allocation of learning time(ST)has become the main way to study the relationship between the monitoring and control.Koriat(2006)proposed that ST displays a dual function in the different driven models,reflecting the different relationship between monitoring and control.Therefore,the exploration of its different functions will help to deepen the understanding of the relationship between meta-memory monitoring and control.The domestic scholar Jia Ning(2011)found a significant negative correlation between in the judgment of learning and learning time distribution in the repetitive learning conditions,indicating the time monitoring function is stable.Due to the different allocation of learning time under different driving conditions displays a dual function,which is necessary to explore the control function.Therefore,the purpose of this study is to verify that the monitor function is stable and to investigate whether the control function is stable under the goal driven model.This study consists of two experiments.In Experiment 1,subjects were allowed to control their own learning time,and different test items were set up with different test scores,which led to two different driving models,then to explore the two functions of the allocation of time under the conditions of repeated learning.In Experiment 2,based on the premise of giving feedback,to explore the dynamic changes of the monitoring and control functions under different driving conditions more deeply.The conclusions of the two experiments are as follows:(1)When the allocation of study time is data driven,judgment of learning decrease with increasing of study time under repeated learning conditions,reflecting the monitor function of allocation of study time is stable.(2)When the allocation of study time is goal driven,judgment of learning increase with increasing of study time during the first trial,however judgment of learning decrease with increasing of study time during the second trial,reflecting the control function is unstable.(3)Under the condition of feedback,the judgment of learning is reduced with the increase of learning time,revealing the control function is unstable.
