On the basis of our cultural background, in this study middle school students as the research object, the study examined systematically the relationship of the professional future orientation,self-control and academic achievement.The study used two questionnaires, one is that revised questionnaire of professional future orientation questionnaire,the other is that questionnaire of self-control of middle school students prepared by Wang Hongjiao.The two questionnaires were used in 799 middle school students to analyze and make the conclusions as below:1.Based on the sample of middle school students, the study revised professional future orientation questionnaires of Rachel Seginer . professional future orientation questionnaire consisted of three dimensions: behavioral exploration, professional motivation, and cognitive evaluation of expectations.This questionnaire has a good degree of reliability and validity.2. Professional future orientation shows significant differences when it is analyzed from the perspectives of demography.3. Professional motivation can forecast academic achievement and self-control positively, All the dimensions of self-control can forecast academic achievement.4.Behavior control,thought control and emotional control have partly mediation effects between professional motivation and academic achievement.
