Future time perspective is a stable personality trait that refers to the cognition,experience and behavior tendency of an individual to the future time.Previous studies have shown that future time perspective is significantly correlated with academic achievement.Academic self-efficacy is the embodiment of self-efficacy in academic field.Academic self-efficacy is the subjective evaluation of the individual's ability to complete the task.Previous studies have shown that academic self-efficacy is significantly correlated with academic achievement.In order to explore the relationship between the future time perspective,academic self-efficacy and academic achievement of middle school students.Two questionnaires were used to measure the future time perspective and academic self-efficacy.In Qihe first senior middle school and Qihe NO.3 junior middle school,500 students were investigated by cluster random sampling.The main findings is as following:1.The future time perspective and academic self-efficacy of middle school students are at the middle level,which shows that students have a better future time perspective and academic self-efficacy.2.There is a significant difference in the future negative and future positive dimensions of different sexes;There is a significant difference between high school and junior high school students in the future negative,future confusion,future persistence and future clarity dimensions;Compared with high school students,junior high school students have a higher sense of academic self-efficacy;Compared with non only child,only child has a higher sense of academic self-efficacy.3.Future persistence and future clarity have significantly positive relationships with academic achievement amog the middle school students investigated,future negative and future confusion have significantly negative relationships with academic achievement amog the middle school students investigated.Future negative of middle school students has significantly negative predictive function to academic achievement,future persistence of middle school students has significantly positive predictive function to academic achievement.4.Academic self-efficacy has significant positive correlation with academic achievement amog the middle school students investigated.Academic self-efficacy play not totally intermediary role between future negative and academic achievement,academic self-efficacy play totally intermediary role between future persistence and academic achievement;Learning ability self-efficacy play totally intermediary role between future persistence and academic achievement,Learning ability self-efficacy play totally intermediary role between future negative and academic achievement.The conclusion:1.Students have a better future time perspective and academic self-efficacy.2.Compared with the male students,the female students had higher positive emotional experience and lower negative emotional experience for the future.3.Compared with high school students,junior high school students have less negative emotional experience and confused about the future,the future action is more persistence,a clearer understanding of the future;compared with high school students,junior high school students have higher academic self-efficacy.4.Compared with non only children,the only child has higher academic self-efficacy.
