Li Rui is a very special writer in contemporary literary history of China. He not only has a wealth of literature,but have his own unique perspectives in Literary Theory. Li Rui's claim is that re-examine the Chinese Culture from the view of"bidirectional sufferings", which On the basis of conveying ideas in Chinese characters and exploring the meaning of humanity and eternal life. Because of his efforts, Li Rui's works has stand high in many readers and critics'favour. In this thesis, Author selected Li Rui's work, the world ,completed in 2007 for analysis. The thesis place special emphasis on adapting the traditional story Legend of the White Snake by Li Rui and excelling himself through learning the Buddhist philosophy.In the first place. The thesis organized the Writing Thoughts of Li Rui, he not only had the same experience with other writers'in one generation, also had onw unique life circumstance. Cultural Revolution and Educated youth are eternal material in Li's works. Li caught the Material and the spiritual dilemma which is present in everyone by his Sensitive soul and keen eyes, so there always had a tragedy feelings in his works. He has a tortured soul and try to find a kind of spirit redemption from"bidirectional sufferings". But Li first express a clear and definite answer in the world after his version of"sufferings", which is Insight and free after contemplated for many years.Secondly, the thesis conducted a sort of version of the world, and generalized the Buddhist thought which is present in the work. Analyzes the Buddha in the world by three propositions, firstly,samsara of destiny is can not be control, next,the Buddha is no different with all flash, the last one,human's worship for woman is become the incarnation of Buddha, meanwhile, Author revealed the inheritance of Buddhism by comparison of the world and Buddhist highlights in Li's early works.Thirdly, Based on the analysis of the reason why Li choose the Buddhism as his "literary faith", the author gives two views : Li Rui hoped that completesIdentity and analysis of defects of humanity are Long-term concerned topics of Li Rui, it's inevitable choice for Li to continue the discussion on this topic base on the Buddhist philosophyAt last, the thesis generalized the modern sense of Buddhist philosophy which is a important purpose of creation of the world. Apart from this, author thinks that Buddhist will continue to affect the future creation of Li Rui for a period of time.
