As metaphor in field of cognitive linguistics started,it slowly became people a way of thinking.People started using metaphor way to know our world.The theoretical understanding of metaphor people going through some remarkable development, people no longer only the metaphor is regarded as a kind of simple language rhetorical tactics, but rhetorical tactics the metaphor boils down to human cognitive activities, think it is and human cognitive connected with each other. It is a field of human will experience pertaining to or understanding of another kind of field experiences a cognitive activity.Contemporary cognitive linguists think,metaphor from a cognitive domains mapped to another cognition domain,which is from "source domain"mapped to "target field".Usually use people familiar,specific concept to express people unfamiliar,abstract concept.Realize better communication between human being and communication.But the mapping relationship is the imagination,but as a concept similarity in this as a basis,based on some of the features that concrete concepts in the abstract concept,thus finish to clarify reflect mapping between two concepts.Only in different things to establish such similarity between the relationship,can we come to a new understanding of the target domains, expand our characteristics of vocabulary.Based on the research of which a proper noun phrases,we found that these words have slowly lost proprietary pragmatic meaning,but more are endowed with the actual pragmatic meaning.This in the teaching of foreign students should be particularly noticeable.In this paper,based on the facts of a multitude of languages,with specific theory of this phenomenon,the careful research and summarize,in order to People's Daily application and students study using play guiding effect.Part I: Preface.The paper mainly introduces the research object and research objectives,research status and the research significance,the research materials and methods.Thesis mainly for proper nouns middle finger people noun meaning in-depth understanding.Through put corpus,Chinese dictionary,TCFL textbooks,the People are Daily and so on many kinds of materials with example analysis.
