Shop name has a long history in China, contains a wealth of social and cultural, has a rich aesthetic implication, passing the ancient commercial civilization. The Linguistic Analysis of shop names can enrich language of ontology research, and also expand the language applied research. To the glossary research, the social linguistics research and the language standardization research has the influential role.Fashionable shop name is a typical representative of today's shop names, is closely linked with the pulse of the times, distribution of the socio-economic and cultural characteristics and atmosphere. The research to fashionable shop names can reveal contemporary clothing, catering, leisure and other aspects of pop elements and consumer trends, and thus to grasp people's consumption psychology, fashion psychological and cultural orientation.We take the main commercial street of fashionable shop names in Dalian as the research object , get 1554 names involving costumes, catering, leisure . This paper mainly focuses on language and culture two perspectives, use theoretical analysis, statistics, Questionnaire surveys and other methods, the description and the explanation unifies, analyzes linguistics characteristic of Dalian's Fashionable Shop names.Main content :Chapter one is the introduction, briefly comment on shop names and status of research on how the research object, the source corpus, theoretical methods and purpose of significance. Chapter two is the main thesis, from the sound,shape, vocabulary, grammar and rhetoric to analyze the characteristics of shop names . Chapter three analyzes the social ,cultural characteristics and psychological factors of shop names. Chapter four according to partial results of the survey analysis of problems in shop names and to make appropriate standardization strategy, from the cooperation principle to proposed the principle of naming a shop .
