Zhou Shoujuan was one of the leading writers of the Saturday School. He published numerous works in the representative publication of this school, and translated a number of famous short stories of Western. This paper begins with presenting Zhou Shoujuan which on behalf of the Saturday School, in order to do them justice. The writer gives detailed study in this part, and summarizes the characteristics of his novels. And Study from two aspects of his translation work, one is the influence of translation work on his creation, the other is the success and failure of his translation work.In Chapter three, the writer Sums up Zhou shoujuan's creative mindset by combining with analysis of his works."Leisure and entertainment"is not only the Founding purpose of"Saturday",but also the most obvious tendency of writing of Zhou shoujuan Chapter four Analyzes and summarizes the artistic achievements of Zhou shoujuan's work. He's advantages are quite obvious, shortcomings are obvious too. His ethical concept looks new yet old. And his gross fabrication is lack of life basis. All the inadequate undermine the influence of the novel directly.In the part of Conclusion, According to the typical writer Zhou Shoujuan, we can see that the writer of Saturday had created a part of the outstanding literary works. Although their ideas and artistic value are not high as the 54 writers, there exist positive factors.We should not overlook the value of them.
