Motivation is one outstanding feature of Chinese, and it is the cause of Chinese language occurrence and development .In recent years, linguists have ranged their study scope from the words sound, shape plane to syntactic and pragmatic plane. Although Chinese motivation thinking took place a long time ago and modern linguists motivation explanation has entered an unprecedented prosperity age ,it is still a relatively new subject for few research achievements on it have appeared. Especially applying Chinese motivation research to the study of Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is rare. so, the combination of Chinese Motivation Research with TCFL is not only essential but also meaningful ,which is doomed to having a great effect on TCFL.Full-text is divided into five parts:The first part introduces the main rationale for the study of word origin, study object, purpose and value.The second part of the literature review the focus of attention by linguists and arbitrary nature of the rationale of the beginning, an overview of our predecessors on the Chinese word justification of research, including domestic, overseas words and expressions principle according to research as well as in foreign Chinese glossary teaching words and expressions principle according to natural research present situation.The third part of the rationale for the definition of words, type analysis, and on this basis, the rationale of the Chinese words for analysis, including simple words and compound words the rationale for analysis.Part IV of "the level of vocabulary and Chinese characters in Chinese grade framework" based on the most representative terms chosen, and to make an example of its rationale for analysis.Part V of the words the research and rationale for foreign language teaching combined with the four areas focuses on the rationale for studying foreign language vocabulary teaching,and proposed principle according to natural use in teaching Chinese as a foreign language when should pay attention question we hope this analysis will help the development of foreign language vocabulary teaching.
