On The "X+人" Structured Adjectives Of Hongtong Dialect, Shanxi Province

As a language unit,"X+人"indwell in lots of dialects. However, there are only several treatises concerning this phenomenon at the present time, and there have some different opinions among these treatises."X+人"in Hongtong dialect is only mentioned in the book the Report of Shanxi dialect Investigation and Study. Based on the investigation on the spot, this paper gives a comprehensive study on the linguistic unit"X+人"in Hongtong dialect by static describe and comparative analysis, the purpose is to show the main features of"X+人"in Hongtong dialect. I hope it can enrich the research findings of Hongtong dialect further, and can provide more data for the study of the linguistic unit"X+人"in other dialects.The first chapter shows briefly us the geography, the history, the population, the nations of Hongtong County and Mingjiang Town, and the languages and dialects used there. It also introduces the present studies on the linguistic unit"X+人"and the research methods and so on.The second chapter introduces the attribute of the the linguistic unit"X+人"in Hongtong dialect.First,we know it is a word but not phrase by analyze it's pronunciation and ingredients.Then we discussed the question It is a verb or an adjective,and we get the conclusion that it is an adjective.The third Chapter gives a detailed analysis of the"X+人"in Hongtong dialect from semantics,grammar and functions.The most notable semantic feature is that all of these words can exprss the meaning make one feel….The most notable grammatical feature is that it can be overlapped twice or three times. And the most notable pragmatic feature is that the subject who has the feelings is displaced. The other characteristics of these words will be described in the text in detail.The forth chapter compares the linguistic unit"X+人"in Hongtong dialect with it in Putonghua, in other dialects and in ancient Chinese. It can be found that"X+人"has one emotional coloring in Hongtong dialect,but two or three in Putonghua, in other dialects and in ancient Chinese.
