Teacher Professional Development is the main aim of the reform of teacher education. Teacher Professional Development is the process of mastering necessary knowledge and skills of teachers'professional practice at every stage in their teaching-occupation. The growth of many excellent teachers and pioneers of educational reform shows without exception that learning to teach in class is one of effective ways to their development process.Case analysis in teaching accompanied by the new teaching curriculum is a new way of teaching and research paid more attention to by people. It is one of the school activities and teachers'behavior which combines study, work and research together. It is one of the most effective approaches to resolve the realistic problems in English teaching and to Teachers Professional Development.In this study, I select the English teaching research group in Jiangsu Foreign Language School as a case. Based on the theory study of Case Study and teachers'professional development, the study begins from the implement of case study, probing into case study and teachers professional development through the investigation there, by using of multiple methods, such as observation method, deep interview method, literature analysis method, ect. And study how to efficiently launch case study to better accelerate teachers'professional development. Moreover, operational ideas and suggestions are put forwards on how to develop individual teaching research effectively.The first two chapters, namely the background and overview of case analysis, the major concerns are case analysis and the role of teacher profession development. The third chapter selects the English teaching research group in Jiangsu Foreign Language School as a case combines with some vivid case. It studies and introduces the teaching and research activities related to case analysis in teaching and the situation of teacher professional development. The fourth chapter, through the salon"Develop with Case Analysis in teaching"summarizes that case analysis in teaching promotes teacher professional development. The last chapter makes a summary of case analysis in teaching for teacher professional development and give some suggestion for the development of case analysis in teaching.
