A Research On Practical Writing Teaching In Five-year Higher Vocational Schools In Jiangsu Province

With the rapid development of social economy and science in 21st century,communication among people in different fields is becoming increasingly frequent. This makes a greater demand upon people's practical writing skill than ever before. It can be concluded that to learn practical writing skill well meets the needs of the market-directed economy, and being good at practical writing is the basic ability that citizens in new century should have.Practical writing plays a significant part in Chinese education of five-year higher vocational schools. It not only spreads theoretical knowledge of writing, but also focuses on writing practice. Meanwhile, it has a close connection with future professional career of students and social life. According to investigation, however, we find that the current practical writing teaching reveals such problems as lacking interest, having not been paid enough attention by both teachers and students, being irrational of teachers'knowledge structure, having no aesthetic education in practical writing and so on. All of these problems have greatly hindered the development of Chinese teaching in higher vocational schools and the advancement of comprehensive qualities of future professional talents.In order to promote the effectiveness of practical writing teaching, I attempt to carry out teaching experiment through the following aspects:(1) understanding correctly practical writing;(2) improving interest of teaching;(3) arranging teaching materials rationally and choosing types of practical writing rightly according to majors;(4)explore effective teaching methods;(5)optimizing teachers'knowledge structure and advancing teachers'development of specialization;(6) strengthen aesthetic education in practical writing teaching;(7) involving school activities in practical writing teaching;(8) creating favorable writing circumstances for studentsï¼›(9)broaden students'outlook and stimulate their enthusiasm to writing. The experimental results show that the above measures are practicable and effective to practical writing teaching in five-year vocational schools.
