Analyzing and researching the news headline have very important theoretical meaning and practical value. On the one hand, it is the summary of the news headline from the height of the theory; on the other hand, it makes the readers deepen the understanding of these words on the higher level. Meanwhile, it can provide the news reporter with some theoretical support to produce a marked effect. One reflects the changing situation of the objective matters; numbers mainly show the value of the news; news plays an important role in the truth of the news. The way of using numbers includes:contrasting, answering and showing.Thirdly, discussion on the rhetorical feature of the language of the news headline. Choosing rhetorical style properly can make the language style of the headline more attractive. This part mainly introduces several common rhetorical styles, such as analogy, metaphor, duality, pun, quotation and so on. This part discusses the classification of the rhetoric and the usage in writing the news headline.Fourthly, analyzing the mistake of the language usage of the news headline. Some headlines partly seek for the curiosity, but make them wrong; some headlines use such lots of fashion words that the meaning of the words are out of fashion; some headlines use the dialect so that they influence the effect of conveying the message; some headlines use the news words without being filtrating so that they influence the quality of the news.The last is epilogue parts. It briefly summarizes the main point of view and the verdict of the research.
