The Folk Songs Research Of Zoucheng-the Hometown Of Mencius

Zoucheng is the hometown of Mencius where a rich and varied folk culture is formed upon a long-term creation and accumulation. Firstly,the article traces the development of Zoucheng folk songs, analyzed the Zoucheng folk songs of the entire development process through the customs area of Shandong Zoucheng culture, natural environment, historical factors from different angles. Next, the article studied the folk music morphology and also explored the emotion and feeling, lyrics structure and singing skills, etc.of Zoucheng Folk Songs. At the end, the author discussed how to protect and make Zoucheng Folk Songs descending forward. The author pointed that we should retain the style of tradional culture, and add modern elements into folk works reasonably so that the traditional work better together with the modern society without loosing its feature.
