Research On Environmental Consciousness Of Xu Gang's Non-fictional Works

Xu Gang's non-fictional works focus on the environment. His thinking and creation is surrounding environment from beginning to end . This paper, starting from the environment, tries to lucubrate the environmental consciousness present in Xu Gang's non-fictional works .And this paper also will dig out the artistic value and realistic significance in Xu Gang's non-fictional works creation.This paper consists of introduction, full of five chapter and ending. In Chapter1,the key research is environment introspection consciousness in Xu Gang's non-fictional works creation. First, it studied the introspection about the relationship between the environmental changes and urban development ,taking the views of Xu Gang on the decline of the Ancient Loulan as an example. Xu Gang is feeling sorry to the decline of the Ancient Loulan and he introspect this puzzle from the angle of environmental history .Then, he concludes that the city's ups are based on the natural environment . And Xu Gang actively explore the ecological civilization development way. Second, this chapter analyse Xu Gang's points that the environmental crisis coexists with spiritual crisis. On the one hand, Xu Gang notice that the environmental crisis is eroding and spreading to the mental space. On the other hand, he point out that the spiritual crisis is one of the underlying factors in the environmental crisis.The second chapter give the interpretation of Xu Gang's environmental criticism consciousness from three aspects. First of all, this chapter points out Xu Gang's dissatisfaction to bad environmental situation from three basic elements of human existence such as the air, water, soil. Secondly , it analyses Xu Gang's exploration about the causes of the environmental problems and it points out the serious criticism of Xu Gang to the technical rationality. Finally, it explored the causes of environmental problems from the factor that the modern civilization had fully arouse human greed. It analysed the indignation flay of Xu Gang to human greed which focus on human's greed for money chase. On the one hand, it points out that Xu Gang criticized the Crazy behavior such as Crazily mining and excessively digging precious vegetation just for money. On the other hand , it analyses that Xu Gang rebuked the atrocities of the killing of rare animal cruelty.The main point of the third chapter is the suffering reading of environmental consciousness in Xu Gang non-fictional works creation. First of all, it combed the objective conditions which produced the suffering consciousness, and the connotative features of the suffering consciousness. The first part of this chapter puts forward that the ethical doctrine of reverence for life expands ethics and morals from human beings to all the living creatures. Xu Gang's mercy for flora and fauna as well as his respect for natural life present his consciousness of reverence for life. The second part analyzes Xu Gang's ecological holism consciousness by studying these two aspects of Xu Gang's attention to the close relationship between each member of the ecological system and his focus on earth integrity. It points out that ethics should be expanded not only to the range of all the living creatures on the earth but also but also to that of the lifeless existence. To put it in another way, people should focus on the integrity of ecological system and give ethic concerns to every existence in the ecological system, so that they can shoulder the responsibilities of ecological integrity.In Chapter 5, it has mainly summarized the art value and practical significance in the creation of Xu Gang.
