Bel canto has thrived into one of the most important pedagogics for its scientificity of singing since it has been introduced into China in early 20th century. Soprano is an important part, always be the leading role in opera and also is the melody part in concerted music. This essay develops around problems of singing with soprano in attempt to figure out some scientific countermeasures through practices.Scientific theory is very instructive to practice, and the writer holds that before investigation of the measures to solve questions, singers should build the idea of scientific voice in mind. So does Bel canto with the development of society. The essay attempts to make the conclusion of correct voice idea in different periods under the analysis of those distinctive sopranos'tone, tune and singing style from May 4th Movement to 1980s with social background. What voice concept and how to build it in current situation will be discussed in chapter one.Due to misunderstanding of the inborn biological condition and acquired skills of application, there leads to universal problems of singing skills, including guttural relaxation, larynx stability, application of resonance, breath fluency and how to adjust song, which will be solved in this paper. Meanwhile, after the theoretical discussion, we will attempt to ponder over technique problem and the unification of song part will be conquered. This will be analyzed in cheater two.With the aids of popular scholars on those problems, and throng the research, practice and summary leading to scientific training method, it will be effective in teaching. However, there are few shortcomings expected to be pointed out by professors.
