In this paper, we use the theory of text linguistics to explore the textual function of "ranhou, yihou, houlai" .The acquisition and the error analysis which are based on reading extensive literatures and organizing large corpus in both. The causes of the errors which we analysis are according to the different types of errors, then it provides some teaching strategies for the foreign language teaching such as careful observations, scientific summary and appropriate example .First, this article describs the characteristics of the time connected components from the syntactic point of view.From the single use and reuse, etc. to find its distribution. We found that "ranhou yihou houlai" could imply some other semantic relationships such as logic, causalityand spatial relations besides the time.In the relevant context, because of the semantic weakening of "ranhou", it can be used as marked features.when "yihou" and "houlai" use with the tone of the word co-occurrence, they also can be used as marked features.Second, this paper focuses on the foreigners'acquisition of "ranhou, yihou, houlai" .There are many different parts for the foreigners in different stages on their acquisition of time connected components. It can provide some Teaching Strategies for the foreign language teaching. By classifying the different types of errors, we get the following three types of errors: wrong use, multi-use, drain use. Based on the above research, provide some Teaching Strategies for the foreign language teaching.The acquisition of the time connected components is not only the very important but also very difficult parts to the foreigners in the Chinese study . This paper aims to provide some useful information by the study on the time connect components "ranhou, yihou, houlai".
