The Creative Language Of Western Modern Abstract Sculpture

The emergence of western modern abstract sculpture is the most important events in the field of twentieth century sculpture and subverts the western tradition of realism which thousands of years to form by the new creation. It enriches and develops sculpture by unique modeling language and it let the later development of sculpture showing entirely different art tracks. Western language of modern abstract sculptures is stressed that an artistic language of artist's subjective spirit,also an artistic language of the vitality element form,at the same time an artistic language of artistic purity expression. Western modern abstract sculpture is a kind of art form which has a broad development prospects.This paper describes characteristics of creative language of western modern abstract sculpture. Article is divided into four parts:the second chapter general introduces the definition and features of the Western modern abstract sculpture; the third chapter analyzes the impact of factors during the formation of western modern abstract sculpture;the forth chapter analyzes characteristics of creative language of western modern abstract sculpture and the characteristics of its shape and creative methods; the fifth chapter analyzes the relationship and performance between western modern abstract sculpture and various art schools of the 20th century; The final chapter summarizes the progress of its significance in the history of sculpture.
