Create A New Carrier Of Urban Cultural Image

Today with urbanization advancement speeds up unceasingly,the gap between cities has been narrowed. All parts of the city have been developed in the international and standardized way. People can hardly leave an indelible impression with the undistinguished high-rise buildings and brands all over the city when they are leaving. All of this not only makes the city lost their identity and competitiveness, but also detrimental to long-term development and planning of the city. So are the vision systems of urban public traffic. While working to transmit information in the standardized and systematize way, people also hope the vision systems of urban public traffic can be unique and can be related to cultural image and spiritual content of the city. Make sure they can not only serve the city, but also express the characteristics of the city. Using the representative elements of urban cultural image to public communication system, not only contribute to protecting and passing on our culture, but also contribute to forge the soul and promote the cultural image of the city.There are 4 chapters in the dissertation. Each of the chapter based on three aspects: discover the problem; analyzing the problem; solve the problem. Comprehensive analysis the relation between the vision images systems of urban public traffic and the urban cultural image. Taking Jinan City as an example, based on the investigation and research, analyses the present situation and the existing problems, in this way draw a feasible design.The 1st chapter is"introduction". It leads to the full text from the"discover the problem"of view. It also introduces the present situation of urban public traffic's vision images systems; the main research methods and contents of this paper.The 2nd and 3rd chapters are"the survey of urban public transportation systems"and"the survey of cultural image and public transportation systems of Jinan City", respectively. It comprehensive analysis the concept and the component parts of public transportation systems and vision images systems from the"analyzing the problem"of view. And according to the practical condition of Jinan, giving some suggestions and providing theory support for the 4th chapter.The 4th chapter is"Concrete application and visual design of Jinan urban cultural image at the public transportation systens", from the"solve the problem"of view. By analysising and combining the cultural image of Jinan, eventually complete the feasible design.
