The present work deals with the subject of an outsider gruppe in the pop literature on the example of two selected novels of Lotus by Annie Baobei and Can you by Benjamin Lebert.First, the characteristics of pop literature have been summarised. The pop literature usually uses a simple and direct language. The pop writers are often very young. Youth and adolescence are the main source of the themes of pop literature. The life of the outsider is the most common contents of the pop literature. Furthermore, some changes in the development of pop literature have been found. The staging of the pop writers, the combination of pop music in the pop literature and the themes deviation from everyday phenomenon are clearly visible. Then, a brief statement has carried on the theme of self-and identitydiscovery of the outsider in two novels of Annie Baobei and Benjamin Lebert. It is about the position determination on the basis of coordinates such as generation, gender and social background of the outsider in the pop literature. Furthermore, it can be shown that the pop cultural space to be understood and described as a space, which is the full of strange and familiar, misleading and highly significant messages. The second section contains a detailed formulation of an outsider in the pop literature with selected novels. The two categories of outsiders, namely, the involuntary and externally determined and the voluntary and self-determined underdogs, are shown by the example of the protagonists in these novels very much. Externally marked by lone outsider. Internally the outsider is strongly associated with illness and death. The first feature is isolation and loneliness of the outsider. The fact that the pop literature also focuses on deeper and more existential questions, is the second feature of the outsider, namely the connection with illness and death. Through different means of expression, such as psychological problems, illness, suicide, self harm and terror, the protagonists are always associated with death. But it is also noted that the protagonists do not give up the fight. They search for a way out and a rescue. The third feature of the outsider in the pop literature is the identification of growing up and dealing with parents or other adults of the outsider. The early childhood experiences and memories play an important role in the adolescent phase of the outsider. The fourth feature is the presentation of outsiders with nature. In the next section is followed by a detailed presentation of the two trips in Tibet and in Scandinavia. It is determined that the destination has played an important role in both novels and also had a metaphorical meaning. In conclusion, it should be noted that the absence was true of the identity of the protagonists in different ways and the players the itineraries used as a solution. It is also shown that a space in between exists according to the concept of heterotopia of Michel Foucault, for outsiders. The search for the identity of the outsider and the emergence of the contemporary cultural difference was the central task in the larger cities multicultural understanding. In this space in between contains a solution to find a way out.The outsider in the novels could be seen as outsiders in a positive way. The relationship of the pop literature with the media and the Internet in the coming years become a more important topic. The theme and content of pop literature is also experiencing changes. The interactions and the influence of German and Chinese literature establishments are therefore in close connection. There are also differences in the common. This opens new perspectives for further research.
